That night, the guys from Pink Godzilla toilet papered our booth before meeting us for dinner.īack to Castle Crashers - someone is making a Street Fighter vs Castle Crashers MUGEN!ĭespite the network and save issues (a title update is on the way), the fan response to Castle Crashers has been totally amazing.
Policewoman Sapphire, however, is an awesome vertical shooter, "the best shooter ever for the PC Engine", according to Nathan from Pink Godzilla. Yuna is some sort of interactive story game featuring girls in space suits completely worthless crap.
PEBC is three classic PC Engine games on one PSP disc: Galaxy Fraulein Yuna 1&2, and Galaxy Policewoman Sapphire. This year, I bought Rhythm Tengoku 2 (DS) and PC Engine Best Collection. The Castle Crashers booth at PAX was a huge success this year! We pretty much sold out of everything we brought, which is especially nice at the end of the show when we need to pack everything up and ship it back.Įvery year at PAX, I end up buying a few games at the Pink Godzilla booth. I'm pretty good now that I got Japan out of my system, though. It's kinda sad to start with a new passport because you lose all the stamps that show what countries you've been to, but I guess it also gives you a reason to want to travel a lot and fill it up again. Speaking of which, the UK Meetup is in January! I just mailed in my passport renewal form this morning because my passport expires in November. I'm tired of traveling, though, so the UK Meetup is probably all I'll keep on my plate. I really just want to go for the wine and food, which were awesome. If we went this year, it would be as a publisher looking to bring other games to market, but we're kinda up in the air on that. I went to France with John back in 2005, when we were looking for a publisher for Castle Crashers - this was before we moved it over to XBLA and decided to become our own publisher. There is a Game Connection going on in France again before the end of the year. Rocco from Mega 64 posted this little video about us in Japan: I wanna kick this before the UK Meetup so I can drink like a champ, but I have a bad feeling I'm gonna be nursing bottles sloooooowly. The really troublesome part is that beer doesn't sit very well. I'm drinking tea instead of coffee and trying not to eat too much in one sitting. In the meantime, I've been trying to fix up my diet. I don't know if another month could solve things once and for all, or what. The one month of pills ran out and I've shifted back to being more alert and awake, but the stomach pain is back. But I think it really was making me get DEPRESSED. I was also more tired in the morning, although I always hate mornings. I actually started falling asleep on the couch at night in front of the TV, which I never do - I usually have to force myself to bed. I was diagnosed with having a spastic stomach and given Metoclopramide, a "potent dopamine receptor antagonist." This actually worked and my symptoms pretty much went away, but the side effect was that I was a lot more tired and became totally unmotivated. It helped with some of the reflux symptons but I still had regular stomach pains, waking up every morning with stomach pain and having regular pains at times throughout the day. I first started taking Prevacid, for acid reflux. Instead I have pre-ulcer conditions that could lead to an ulcer. I thought it was an ulcer brought on by the stress of Castle Crashers, but I got checked out and don't have an ulcer. So for months now, I've been dealing with this bad stomach pain.
